Terms and Conditions of Hire – casual bookings

Notes

Key Collection

You may collect the key from a committee member on production of the key voucher that is sent to you when you pay your hire fee.

Table and Chairs

The chairs are stored in the home dressing room and the tables are stored in the cupboard in the home dressing room. Both chairs and tables are on trolleys for ease of use. For ease of use we recommend that two adults manoeuvre the trolleys.

Discos

If you are having a disco it is not permitted to use dry ice as this sets off the fire alarm.

Bouncy Castles

If you are hiring a bouncy castle please provide written details of the equipment’s specifications 7 days prior to the event.

Payment of hire fees and deposit

Please send your hire fee and £50 deposit cheque together with one signed copy of the hire contract to Marion Day, 2 Poplar Way, Hampton Park, Salisbury SP1 3GR,  14 days prior to the hire date or immediately if a late booking.

Cutlery

Cutlery is not included in the hiring of the Pavilion.

Rubbish

There are black bin liners in the right hand cupboard under the sink in the kitchen. Please replace the bin liner in the rubbish bin in the kitchen when you leave and please take your rubbish with you. Please do not leave any bin liners with rubbish in near any of the rubbish bins near the pavilion or play park as the council has advised us that it poses a health and safety risk.

Washing up liquid

There are “J” cloths in the cupboard under the sink together with washing up liquid. However we do advise that you bring your own materials to be on the safe side.

Cleaning

We expect you to leave the Pavilion in a clean and tidy state. The vacuum cleaner can be found in the cupboard in the foyer. If you leave the Pavilion in a state that requires additional cleaning, then a charge will be deducted from you deposit.

Nuisance

Installation of security grills has deterred youths from hanging around the pavilion. However should you have any problems with youths loitering in the car park please phone the Police on 411444.

In addition for your safety there is 24 hours CCTV surveillance in the car park and on the Pavilion veranda.
